Jennifer B. Schroeder, MD

Pediatrics

Jennifer Schroeder, MD joins Summit Health in Pediatrics. A graduate of University of Portland, Dr. Schroeder received her medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency at Oregon Health and Science University and was Pediatric Chief Resident at OHSU from 2010-2011. She is board certified in Pediatrics and also holds certifications in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).

Dr. Schroeder chose Pediatrics because she feels there is something very special about caring for children. She appreciates the joy and innocence in a child’s spirit and is amazed by how quickly they bounce back from an illness. Everyday she steps into the clinic honored to be entrusted with the health of someone’s child.  Although Dr. Schroeder enjoys all aspects of pediatric medicine she has particular interest in helping parents adjust to life and care of newborns.

In her spare time you’ll find Dr. Schroeder running, golfing, paddle boarding, traveling, and spending time with her husband and two young sons.
