Megan B. Blunda, MD

Megan Blunda, MD, is a member of Summit Health’s Family Medicine team. Dr. Blunda completed her undergraduate education at the University of Pennsylvania and attended medical school at Georgetown University, Washington D.C. She completed her residency at Swedish Cherry Hill Family Medicine in Seattle, WA. She is board-certified in Family Medicine.

Dr. Blunda believes in caring for her patients and their families in a thoughtful, personalized manner. Her passion is women’s health, particularly new mothers. Prior to her move to Central Oregon, she spent seven years practicing full-spectrum medicine, which included obstetrics. She retains her love of newborns, pediatrics and breastfeeding support. Dr. Blunda works to fully support the body’s innate ability to heal through a variety of approaches including integrative medicine and manual (osteopathic) musculoskeletal medicine. Osteopathy can be helpful in colic, feeding difficulties and sleep disorders in children, as well in multiple conditions in adults, including headaches and back pain. Dr. Blunda strives to provide her patients with excellent medical care and concern, regardless of a patient’s background, ethnicity, age, gender or sexual orientation.

Outside the office, Dr. Blunda enjoys spending time with her family, music, traveling and exploring this beautiful area through camping, skiing, mountain biking, and hiking.
