Apple Pie Smoothie

Ingredients: 
  • 1 1/2 cup unsweetened plain almondmilk
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1 large Red Delicious or Gala apple, cored and roughly chopped
  • 1 cup ice cubes
Instructions: 
  1. Combine almond milk, oats, applesauce, cinnamon, vanilla (if using) and chopped apple in a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Add ice and blend again until smooth.
  3. Pour into 2 tall glasses and garnish with apple slices.
