Summit Health Recognized as Top Epic Systems User at National Conference

Summit Health is extremely proud and honored to share our Oregon team’s exceptional accomplishment achieving national recognition as one of only seventeen healthcare organizations in the world awarded a Ten Gold Star rating at the 2022 Epic Users Conference. This designation places Summit Health among the top 4% of Epic’s user community alongside some of the most prestigious health systems in the nation.

Epic Systems is used by hundreds of clinic groups around the country. The medical records software has been an industry leader and allows clinicians and patients to seamlessly store, share and input medical information in a secure manor.

The Ten Gold Star Award highlights Summit Health Oregon’s extraordinary outcome optimizing the Epic platform to its fullest potential. Some of the achievements that make up the Ten Gold Star rating include scoring in the 97th percentile in Nurse Productivity, 94th percentile in Value from Data, and 94th percentile in Quality & Saving Lives.
In addition, Summit Health leadership was honored to be invited by Epic to present two separate sessions at the conference highlighting our national best practice model for governance, leadership, and Epic optimization.

Epic’s Gold Star system helps health systems identify features they can use to improve clinical and financial outcomes. It also provides a roadmap for Epic’s platform adoption that improves functionality for patients and clinicians.
