Over his 25-year career in Emergency Medicine, Dr. Ory has worked in high volume, high acuity settings as well as critical access facilities, gaining a deep understanding of the challenges faced in multiple working environments.
He has practiced Emergency Medicine in various locations, including as a Navy Emergency Physician in Okinawa, Japan. After a brief stay at a leading Level 1 academic institution, Dr. Ory has since focused on community medicine. He spent three years as Director of Quality Improvement for the Department of Emergency Medicine reviewing cases for peer review with the department and the hospital Peer Review Committee. His experience extends to teaching, quality improvement, and hands-on patient care, providing a solid foundation for sound emergency medical practice. He has also performed Medico-legal consulting services in Emergency Medicine for the past 13 years.
Dr. Ory enjoys spending time with wife, two kids, and many pets.
