Jaimie Tigner is a Physician Assistant in Summit Health’s Gastroenterology department, located at the Eastside Clinic. With over 6 years of medical practice, Jamie is passionate about all areas of gastroenterology, including treating patients with inflammatory bowel diseases such as Ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease. She feels it’s most important as a healthcare provider to work collaboratively with patients in order to come up with the best plan of care. “I enjoy forming relationships with patients and working with each of them to come up with a individual treatment plan that works best for their needs,” says Jamie.

After graduating Central Washington University with a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Jamie went on to earned her Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies from OHSU in Portland. During patient visits, she strives to listen intently to their concerns and make sure they feel heard.  “It’s also important to me that patients are educated about the risks and benefits of all treatment options,” Jamie says.

When not working, Jamie enjoys outdoor hobbies with her family including mountain biking, running and skiing.
