Accepting new patients
I work hard to build rapport with patients and then create on a multi-modal treatment plan based on evidence-based current best practices and the patient’s unique life experience and goals. I’m a big proponent of the power of pain psychology. The more we learn about how the brain processes pain, the more hope we have that we can rewire the brain to improve pain levels and quality of life.
Kerry’s interests or hobbies outside of medicine include managing a small hobby farm, chasing her kids, traveling. She is grateful to have many years of expertise and experience in gender-affirming medical care, poverty/street medicine, sexual health, underserved primary care in the community and in the correctional setting. Kerry enjoys the opportunity to lecture/teach on topics that I have expertise in.
A fun fact about Kerry; she grew up in Egypt and was previously a third-grade teacher before pursuing a career in medicine.
