Max Hopper, PA-C, is a practice partner in the internal medicine department at Summit Health in Bend. He welcomes patients from all ages and backgrounds.
A native of Redmond, Max earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Portland, Max went on to complete his master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Baldwin Wallace University in Cleveland. He decided to pursue a career in health care due to his desire to help others in times of uncertainty. “This innate compassion, coupled with an interest for the incredible workings of the human body and the science behind medicine, solidified my decision to pursue a career in healthcare as a physician assistant.” says Max.
During visits with patients, Max is focused on establishing trust through active listening and empathetic support. “Ultimately, I strive to deliver patient-centered care that is compassionate, comprehensive, and empowers patients to achieve optimal health outcomes.” he explains.
When not seeing patients, Max enjoys exploring the area and playing golf, fly fishing, hiking, and paddle boarding.
