Nicole O’Neill, PA-C works in Summit Health ’s bariatric weight loss surgery program. Nicole was born and raised in Astoria, Oregon and obtained her Master’s in Physician Assistant studies at Samuel Merritt University. She has training in general surgery through Kaiser Hospital in Oakland, CA and Orthopedic and CT surgery at UCSF. Nicole holds certifications for ACLS & BLS, is a member of AAPA and is the Central Oregon representative for OSPA (Oregon Society of Physician Assistants).
Nicole holds special interest in health, fitness, food and nutrition as it relates to bariatric surgery. She enjoys being a part of patient improvement, whether it is healing from surgery, making their pain go away, or losing 100 pounds and feeling like they have their life back.
In her free time, Nicole enjoys trail running, yoga, camping in the summer and spending time with her young children.
