Accepting new patients
Dr. Roos always strives to be kind and empathetic. He treat patients the way he would want his family to be treated.
Timothy Roos, M.D., received his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota in Physiology and Spanish Studies, where he also attended medical school. He went on to complete his residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine.
Dr. Roos says his most important value as a physician is putting his patients first. “It’s important to make them your ultimate priority, and everything else will fall into place,” he says. “I always strive to be kind and empathetic. I treat patients the way I would want my family to be treated.”
When working with a patient, communication is what Dr. Roos emphasizes. “Everyone involved should know what’s going on, and have a good layman’s understanding of their health and plan.”
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Roos enjoys playing hockey, traveling, camping, hiking, skiing, golfing, attending concerts, and spending time with his family.
