Dr. McClune enjoys the problem solving and personal connection aspects of practicing podiatric medicine and surgery. She finds passion in her work by believing that “making a difference each day, whether big or small, to improve patients’ lives” is of the utmost importance. She is an expert in a variety of issues involving the foot and ankle, from toenail pathology, to deformity, to serious injury. “Whether treating acute or chronic medical issues, I strive to provide personal and unique treatment plans to my patients, depending on their specific needs, goals, and expectations,” she says.
Dr. McClune finds “connection, mutual respect, and making sure the patient feels heard, leaving with a plan in place” to be paramount in her practice. Her goal is to bring humor and empathy to each interaction, and doing so most importantly in a comforting and respectful manner.
Outside of work, Dr. McClune enjoys cooking, exploring new restaurants, learning about wines from around the world, reading, testing her The Office trivia knowledge, and staying active. She also spends time exploring the community with her husband and son.
