Chelsey Gallegos
Chelsey Gallegos is a certified Physician Assistant in Summit Health’s Dermatology department located at the Old Mill clinic. Chelsey received two bachelor’s degrees from the University of South Florida with a major of Bio-Medical Sciences and a major of Studio Art. She then earned her Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies. Chelsey is a member of the Society of Dermatology of Physician Assistants as well as a Dermatology Fellow.
When describing her approach to patient care, Chelsey applies the mindset that there is an art to medicine. “Each patient has a unique circumstance and desired outcome they are trying to achieve, and I believe medicine must be applied with a specific intention,” she explains. It’s most important to Chelsey to listen to her patients during visits and make them feel heard.
When not seeing patients at the clinic, Chelsey enjoys working out, painting, hiking, and taking advantage of what the outdoors has to offer.
