Elana Fedor, MD, is a member of Summit Health’s Internal Medicine team. Dr. Fedor is board certified in internal medicine and completed her medical education, with honors, at New York University School of Medicine in New York City. Her internship and residency training were completed at the New York University Medical Center/Bellevue Hospital Residency Program in Internal Medicine, where she later joined the faculty as an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine. Dr. Fedor is a general internist with 24 years of post-residency experience and has taken care of patients of various demographics, from teenagers to patients over 100 years old. Her philosophy of patient care is to include a patient centered approach with shared decision making. Dr. Fedor feels one of the most important things during a patient visit is that the patient feels comfortable communicating their needs and concerns and comes away feeling they were heard.

When not seeing patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two college-aged children, reading, tennis, and skiing.
