Jenny Blechman, MD. is a Family Medicine physician and member of Summit Health’s Palliative Care team. She attended medical school at Albany Medical College in New York. Dr. Blechman performed her Family Medicine residency at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, before attending Stanford for her Hospice and Palliative Care fellowship.
Dr. Blechman is extensively trained and practiced in working with people and their families who are dealing with a serious illness, which is typically a life-threatening condition. Palliative interventions focus on improving quality of life and supporting patients to make the best choices, so they get the best care possible. “My goal is to provide compassionate care that supports people to make the choices for their health that are right for them based on their values and what they hope for, ensuring they get the best care possible,” Dr. Blechman says.
In her spare time, Dr. Blechman loves being outside – Nordic skiing is her passion, but she also loves to trail run, backpack, travel, and trying to keep up with her 2 teenage sons.
