Kiersten Sorensen, NP, is a nurse practitioner in the Pain Management department at the Old Mill District clinic. She attended COCC and OHSU where she received a bachelor’s in nursing. Kiersten went on to earn a master’s in nursing from Simmons University in Boston.
When seeing patients, Kiersten says the approach she takes includes active listening to understand each patient’s unique story. “I bring creative and innovative ‘out of the box’ thinking to personalize care plans,” she says. “I want my patients to know they are an active participant in their care journey.”
When not in clinic, Kiersten enjoys adventures in the High Desert, walking her dog, mushroom hunting, and spending time with her family.
