Matthew Clark, MD is a member of Summit Medical Group Oregon’s dermatology team. Dr. Clark’s professional interests and expertise focus on both medical and surgical dermatology, including the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer. Dr. Clark is a specialist in Mohs micrographic surgery to remove skin cancer. He also treats a full spectrum of medical dermatologic conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, among patients of all ages.
Dr. Clark completed his Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, FL, with honors. He went on to complete a dermatology residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI and subsequently completed his fellowship in micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, OH.
In addition, Dr. Clark views his interactions with his patients as a partnership where they work together to get the outcome they are looking for. He believes in empowering his patients to make the best health care decisions for themselves by fully educating them about their options. Deeply committed to improving health care, Dr. Clark is passionate about remaining active with continuing education and dermatology advancements to provide the best care possible to his patients.
On his days off, Dr. Clark enjoys sports (especially basketball), reading, outdoor activity, traveling, movies, and cheering on the Florida Gators. He also loves spending time with his wife and being a dog dad.
