Matthew Fedor, MD, FACC

Matthew Fedor, MD, FACC, is a member of Summit Medical Group Oregon Cardiology team. He is board certified in internal medicine, and cardiovascular diseases and clinical cardiac electrophysiology. Dr. Fedor completed his medical education at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO. His internship and residency training in internal medicine as well as his fellowships in cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology were completed at the New York University Medical School, New York, NY.
Dr. Fedor specializes in treating patients with abnormal heart rhythms. He has done research on this topic and published multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals. His special passion lies in educating the community about management and prevention of atrial fibrillation, the most prevalent, costly and impactful of all cardiac rhythm disorders.
Dr. Fedor believes in a holistic approach to patient care and is interested not just in therapeutics, but also in preventative approaches to cardiac disorders and health in general, especially the role of diet, exercise, meditation and quality sleep.
He is a member of the Heart Rhythm Society, a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine.
When not seeing patients, Dr. Fedor enjoys classical music, history, travel and fitness (especially cycling and skiing).
