Tamarind Keating, ARNP, is a member of Summit Health’s oncology department. Ms. Keating completed her undergraduate and master’s degrees in public health and nursing, at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. Ms. Keating is certified as an advanced registered nurse practitioner in oncology and has over 10 years of experience providing patient care in clinics, hospital and intensive care settings; managing cancer, chronic disease, and providing complex care management.
Before joining Summit Health, she developed and led a multidisciplinary cancer care navigation team at a large VA hospital. Her background also includes working as an advanced practice provider and registered nurse in cancer research and hospital settings. Ms. Keating is committed to educating her patients on their disease and treatment options, centering on ways to improve their health. Her special area of interest is cancer survivorship, focusing on the health and life of a person with cancer post-treatment until end of life. She will play an instrumental role in starting Summit Health’s cancer survivorship program.
In her spare time, Ms. Keating enjoys hiking and cross-country skiing. She is an avid baker and enjoys cooking for others. Traveling is her passion, particularly to Africa.
