Tessa Daniels, NP, is a member of Summit Health’s gastroenterology team. Ms. Daniels received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Portland and Doctor of Nursing Practice at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. She is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Ms. Daniels is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and has experience seeing patients of all ages. As a child often hospitalized, she often found the compassion of those who cared for her and her family inspired her to pursue a career in medicine. Her goal is to empower every patient she encounters to take control of their health. Outcomes are greatly improved when patients are active participants in their own healthcare.
Ms. Daniels prefers to create a collaborative plan with each patient that is sustainable and achievable. This involves active listening and allowing each patient to shape their goals for their own health.
Outside of work, Ms. Daniels enjoys reading, riding her Peloton, and spending time outside with my husband and son.
