Ensure you can successfully log into MyChart on the device you will be using for the virtual visit by following the instructions below for your device.
Log in with your username and password. If you do not remember your username or password, select the “Forgot Password or Username?” option or call a Summit Health care team member at 541-706-2319.
If your device supports Face ID or fingerprint scans, you may allow MyChart to use your Face ID or fingerprint to make signing in faster.

If using the Safari browser, follow steps 4-7 below to allow the video to start when it is time for your appointment.
Click “Safari” in your top toolbar and select “Preferences…”
Go to the “Website” tab and select the “Pop-up Windows” section.
On the line for mychart.bmctotalcare.com change the dropdown option from “Block and Notify” to “Allow.”
Exit Safari and relaunch for the changes to take effect.
Access your appointment
Your Summit Health care team will reach out to you before your visit to complete the virtual rooming process and get you connected to the visit with your provider. The care team will walk you through the steps below for your device at that time.
Open the MyChart app and log in.
Click on the “Appointments” icon.
Click on the appointment that you would like to join.
When instructed by your care team, click the green “Begin Visit” button at the bottom of the screen.
You will see a prompt asking for permission to access your microphone and camera, click “Allow.”
When your provider joins the visit, the visit will begin, and you will be able to see and hear them.
When your visit is complete, click the door icon in the top left of the screen and “Leave Call.”
Open the MyChart app and log in.
Click on the “Appointments” icon.
Click on the appointment that you would like to join.
When instructed by your care team, click the green “Begin Visit” button at the bottom of the screen.
