Christy Gunnet, PA-C, is a member of Summit Health’s cardiology department. Ms. Gunnet completed her undergraduate degree at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received her certificate in Physician Assistant Studies at Wake Forest School of Medicine, with honors. Ms. Gunnet has 15 years of clinical experience working as a Physician Assistant at an inpatient and outpatient care clinic for cardiovascular patients.
Before joining Summit Health, she gained professional experience working as a Clinical Research Coordinator in Raleigh, North Carolina. Ms. Gunnet also worked at Central Oregon Health Care Center and St. Charles Medical Center as a Certified Nursing Assistant and is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association. Ms. Gunnet is passionate and motivated to continue her career in cardiology.
In her spare time, Christy enjoys hiking, paddling, biking and exploring Central Oregon with her husband, son, and dog.
