Connor Wood, PA-C

As a Physician Assistant with Summit Health’s Urgent Care team, Connor Wood believes that being forthright and honest is what makes his care unique. “If a patient comes to see me, they will receive my unabashed, truthful opinion and recommendations,” says Connor. He keeps in mind that the human body is designed to heal itself, sometimes it just needs a helping hand which is where medicine treatment comes in.

Connor earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California, and later graduated from the University of Washington with a Masters of Clinical Health Sciences. When thinking about why he decided to pursue a career in healthcare, Connor goes back to his childhood days of spending time around his father’s orthopedic office. He describes his area of expertise to be in family and general medicine, treating adults in primary care.

When not working, Connor enjoys exploring in the mountains. His passions include trail running, skiing and mountain biking. He and his wife are looking forward to adding two children to the family.
