Linda A. Steiner, MD

Linda A. Steiner, MD grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, in a very active family. Sports were a key component of Dr. Steiner’s childhood and she was fortunate enough to receive a scholarship to play basketball at the University of Northern Iowa.  It was there that she discovered her love for science that led her to attend medical school and complete her residency at the University of Iowa. She is board certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics and is also certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Dr. Steiner has a special interest in treating eating disorders and is passionate about providing care and information to those seeking treatment.

Dr. Steiner is grateful every day that she chose to specialize in Pediatrics, a field that  focuses on growth, development, change and learning. She works to help her patients understand  the intricate connection of the mind and body and their  equal importance in achieving and maintaining health. She loves developing relationships with her patients and their families over the course of each child’s life – from birth to adulthood and is particularly interested in working with adolescents.

Dr. Steiner has been a pediatrician for over 15 years, with 11 of them in Central Oregon. When she is not working, you can find her playing tennis, practicing yoga, or hiking  amazing area trails with her husband and dog, Boomer.
