Mariah Weigel, PA-C, is an Internal Medicine provider at Summit Health in Bend. She specializes in treating acute and chronic conditions among patients of all ages.
After completing her Bachelor’s degree at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, Mariah went on to earn a Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. “My interest in medicine was sparked through learning and practicing wilderness medicine,” she explains. “I loved managing injuries and illnesses in remote settings while working as faculty teaching leadership through wilderness expeditions around the world for several years.” Her goal with every patient is to get to know them personally and be present through the ups and downs of life. “I’m an educator and coach at heart,” Mariah says.
When not seeing patients, Mariah enjoys outdoor hobbies such as rock climbing, mountain biking, skiing, and taking her dog, Ruby, on adventures.
