As a primary care provider with Summit Health’s Internal Medicine team, Mary Manfredi, M.D. believes that taking an individualized approach to patient care is what benefits her patients the most. “I take time to address patient’s concerns, and develop a comprehensive, collaborative plan to improve their health,” Dr. Manfredi explains. She believes in the importance of building relationships, especially when treating health issues.
Dr. Manfredi earned her bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology at Pomona College in California, and later graduated from Stanford School of Medicine. While at Stanford, she also completed her Internal Medicine internship and residency. She describes her area of expertise to be in preventive care, women’s health, complex medical patients and post hospital care. “I like to closely manage chronic medical conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and asthma to prevent long term complications,” says Dr. Manfredi.
When not working, Dr. Manfredi enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two children. Her hobbies include running, hiking, reading and gardening.
