Molly Nichols, PA-C

As a Physician Assistant with Summit Health’s Family Medicine team, Molly Nichols believes in treating diseases in their early stages, allowing patients to live long and healthy lives. “One of the main reasons I chose a career in medicine is because my father suffered from type I diabetes and required a kidney and pancreas transplant. As a young child, I was exposed to the consequences of inadequate access to healthcare as well as the miracles of modern medicine,” says Molly. She takes a team-approach to patient care, preferring to partner with the patient and other members of the care team when making decision about the patients care.

Molly is a native Central Oregonian, having growing up in Redmond. She earned her bachelor’s in Health Management at Oregon State University and later graduated from Oregon Health and Science University with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies. When thinking about the most important aspect of her care, Molly says, “The most important thing to me at the end of each patient visit is that they leave feeling like their needs were met and their voices were heard.”

When not working, she enjoys being outdoors alpine skiing, hiking, and paddle boarding. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter traveling the world and attending concerts.
