Renee del Rio, PsyD, is a Psychologist in the Behavioral Health department at Summit Health in Bend. She attended UC Davis for her undergraduate education and later went on to earn her doctorate in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. Dr. del Rio loves working with internal and family medicine patients, from adolescents to seniors.
Dr. del Rio describes her approach to patient care as holistic and creating a coordinated treatment plan for her patients. “Oftentimes there is a mental health component associated with a physical diagnosis, for instance, hypertension, diabetes, or insomnia, that I can collaborate with for optimal improvement,” she explains. There are also lifestyle management goals she supports, such as weight management or substance cessation.
When not seeing patients, Dr. del Rio enjoys skiing, reading, and traveling.
