Pediatrics

Whitney Morgan, MD is a member of Summit Health’s Pediatrics team. Dr. Morgan received her undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and earned her Doctor of Medicine at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in St. Maarten. Dr. Morgan completed her pediatric medicine residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where she also served as pediatric chief resident supervising ninety-five residents at four hospital sites. She is board certified with the American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr. Morgan treats children and adolescents with a focus on eating and dietary challenges, children with asthma, sickle cell anemia, developmental concerns, and how to stay healthy when traveling. She was also an integral member of a multi-hospital redeployment task force to reallocate non-internal medicine residents to adult ICU’s and inpatient units during the recent COVID-19 pandemic outbreak.

She believes that to be a great pediatrician you need to advocate on behalf of each patient, for the families in her care and the community. Dr. Morgan believes “A healthy community with adequate resources is extremely important for the health of all of her patients.”

When Dr. Morgan is not in the office, she enjoys being outside playing water polo, downhill skiing, and hiking. She also enjoys traveling to new places, eating new cuisine, meeting new people, and learning about their culture.
