Steps to take WHEN you have a slip:

1) AS SOON as you notice the slip.  STOP what you are doing.  Take a few minutes to think about what happened that led to the slip and LEARN from it.

2) Make an immediate plan for getting back on track.  Figure out what you need to do to get started right away.

3) Call and get support – reach out to a friend or support group.

4) Guilt is not a useful emotional response in most of these situations.  Forgive yourself for the slip. Remember you are human.  Live, Learn, Move on.
