- “I am writing to express my gratitude and appreciation for Dr. Teller (and Annie McClanahan). I have seen Dr. Teller as a patient several times, and I am thoroughly impressed with both his professionalism and dedication. It is abundantly clear that Dr. Teller is not only an excellent physician, but that he is also a passionate healthcare advocate for those of us fortunate enough to be in his care. Dr. Teller has called in the evening on several occasions long after most people have stopped working to follow up with test results. It is lamentable that we live in a time where almost everything is handled with a “fast food” like approach of indifference. He stands in stark contrast to this trend; a fact for which I am grateful. Dr. Teller is a great asset to BMC and I hope that you will acknowledge him for his exemplary performance. “I would also add that Dr. Nobel did an exceptional job recently when I saw him for a cardiology consult. His thorough approach in communicating the issues was refreshingly appreciated.”
- “I would like to express my appreciation for a few members of your staff that have provided excellent service over the years. First is my child’s pediatrician, Dr. Cuddihy. Dr. Cuddihy has developed great rapport with my child and is just a great pediatrician. Second is Ellen Borland, who recognized my condition and immediately had me admitted to St. Charles, I might not be writing this if not for her. Drs. Cantor and Henderson also helped me through those difficult times. In addition, Kasey Procter, the receptionist at Redmond has always made me feel welcome over the years and Dr. Braich’s COAG nurses in Bend are always great to me. That said… there is always one special person who stands out in so many ways. That one is Connie Lefor, my COAG nurse in Redmond. Connie has gone above and beyond what would be expected. She prepares letters for when I go on trips explaining my circumstances and provides contact information should it be needed, she gets my INR number corrected quickly when conditions change, and she even found a COAG clinic within driving distance of where I am relocating to in Kansas. I will surely miss her and the fine people who work at BMC.”
- A patient of Dr. Fries called in stating they had come in for an appointment and had some issues come up with the date needed to schedule their surgery. The patient’s emotions got the best of them and they were very upset however, the patient noted that Carole Christensen showed so much caring compassion, and willingness to try a variety of avenues to make the situation work. The patient feels BMC is very lucky to have Carole as she is “perfect” for that position, and they hope that BMC appreciates her, as much as they do!”
- A patient expressed how well they were treated in UC last month. They said “everyone was wonderful and Dr. Wesenberg was most excellent! “The patient also said they were very pleased with BMC and thought our pricing was fair as well.
- “The Greeters and Sun Java folks are perfectly wonderful and helpful. The bone density people and mammogram people are wonderful as well, the art work on the first floor……………….”
- “My husband and I were very impressed with the care he was given. Dr. Peters explained everything he was doing and his nurses were very efficient. Hopefully this will be our last trip, but if not, we look forward to the excellent care.”
- “Dr. Kolisch is an extraordinary physician. She is caring and very thorough. The best doctor I’ve had in all of my years of medical care.”

- “Dr. Williams, my husband and I want to tell you how very much we enjoyed my office call. Soon after my appointment, my symptoms ended, I’m convinced it was all due to stress. Not only are you a knowledgeable doctor, but a wonderful people person. I would recommend you to anyone!”
- “At an appointment, Dr. Warlick’s nurse Ellen Jakab discovered my blood pressure at 70/46. They were very concerned about my safety getting over to the ER and sat with me until my friend came to take me. They also secured my vehicle which I had left running in the parking lot. I had suffered a mild stroke. Dr. Warlick has been my doctor since moving to Bend in 1974. Dr. Warlick’s care and concerns, along with his staff is why I feel very lucky to have BMC in my community.”
