It gives me great pride to share with you examples of how each of you is positively impacting our customers’ lives.  Below are portions of recent emails or letters complimenting the excellent TotalCareTM staff and providers at BMC.  Keep up the great work!

  • “All too often people take the time to write a note only when theywish to complain. I’ve been guilty of that myself at times, which is why I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all for the kind and compassionate way I was treated when I needed to be seen in Urgent Care, twice in the last few weeks.  I’ve been struggling with grief over the recent loss of a very dear friend, which I’m sure played a role in the way I was feeling when I came to BMC.  Its also possible that I wasn’t the easiest patient when you saw me. If I was rude or asked too many questions, I am so sorry.  You all work very hard at jobs which can be so stressful and you do a wonderful job.  Special thanks to Dr. Jacobs for being both kind and thorough, taking the time to diagnose my health issues.  I’m feeling better now, thanks to all of you.
  •  “Dr. Purvis and staff are A +++!”
  • Mathew Reed, PA saw me on a Tuesday and by Wednesday afternoon my shortness of breath was almost gone, my crampy muscles were gone, the steady pain-ache all over the left side stopped an my blood pressure was down.  I feel as good as I did a month ago – thank you!!!”
  • “I have lived in several states and cities and I am so gratified and at ease living here in Bend with BMC as my source of health care.  My primary physician is Dr. Warlick and he takes wonderful care of me – I am so fortunate.”
  • A patient’s father called, he wanted to extend a huge thanks to all of our staff at the Redmond clinic, He was very impressed with the quick care he got from Dr Westerbergand how they were able to get the Xray and everything very quickly and all in one place. He was really impressed and wanted everyone to know he said thank you!A patient came in today and complimented everyone that had helped them when they were in UCC last month.  The patient was very, very happy, they said they were taken back promptly, did not have to wait, and said everyone was great.
  • A patient called stating how appreciated they were, not only with Jay Obrien, PA, but the staff up at Mt Bachelor when the patient had a fall.  They noted they were treated so well and were very impressed with the care they were given. The patient wanted them to all know that they are doing very well considering their condition.
  • “Dear Dr. Ockner, as you probably know by now, my biopsy results were positive for cancer.  I will be seeing Dr. Frei to discuss options and treatments.  Dr. Ockner, this note is for a big Thank You for your persistence.  Without your concern who knows what would have happened.  Thank you again.”
  • “A very close friend of mine’s spouse sustained a fractured ankle while skiing at Mt. Bachelor.  I am writing simply to expound on the excellence of care engendered by Michelle Miller, RN, Sean Suttle, PA, and the x-ray technician Brad Haynes.  They all did a wonderful job; they were very prompt, very kind, and very competent.  I would like to take this opportunity, coming from someone who has been doing trauma for many many years, to complement them and I would like to thank them for their excellent care.
  • “Dr. Peters, Ann Reitan, Gary Rigsby, and Diane Shilling.  Thank you, my mother-in-law is doing great! She was so touched by the kindness all of you gave her during her time with you.  I so appreciate all of you and your professionalism. It’s so important to provide comfort to those that are older and all of you were very caring. My thanks to Erica Blain too – she moved mountains to get us in!  Thanks again!!”
  • “Dr. Peters and Staff were considerate, and informative.  We left with confidence that all was taken care of – Thank You.”  “Overall, the team rated Excellent!doing great!”
  • I just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate the TCCC team.  Everyone that works with me on clinical complaint issues is pleasant and helpful, as well as patient with me while I wade through some of the more complicated ones.  Thanks for all you do and please pass my thanks on.
  • The people and service can’t be beat. I have a swollen black eye at present (24 hours post-op) after the removal of a basal cell carcinoma near my eye. Dr. Peters, Gary Rigsby, and Ann Reitan were all professional, very personable and informative, as well as skilled. I am very thankful that I found my way there. Thank You
  • I would like to commend Julie Smith. I told her about the difficulty I was having obtaining a rheumatology appointment. She was professional, courteous, and went beyond the usual services to obtain information, follow-through, and call me back several times. I so much appreciate her actions and the personal care I was shown. I am an RN and I realize this is not the usual. Thank you.
